ABOUT |
I am a Seamstress with 25+ years experience with a Harford County home-based business in Forest Hill, Maryland that I have owned and operated for 20+ years. I started this service in the September 2000 because I love helping people achieve the look they want and deserve at affordable prices. My hobbies outside of sewing are spending time with my family and friends, biking, sports, painting, swimming, watching movies and exploring.

My History |
I started sewing when I was a little girl at the age of 7 and was taught the basics by both my Aunt and my grandmother. As a couple years pasted, my interests grew stronger and would sew whenever I had the opportunity to do so. When I got to Middle School, they offered a Home Economics class, so I took advantage of having some fun in school. Needless, to say I ended up being the teacher's assistance. I went through Middle, High School, College, U.S. Army and a Medical Trade School. I enjoyed the strengths and expectations of what both the U.S. Army and Medical fields offered; my love of Sewing has always persisted.
For many years, I have made repairs, alterations, crafts and more for family and friends, until one day a friend asked me "Why don't you turn this into a business?" "Oh my...I thought! I have had my calling in front of my face for years." I enjoy helping people, just like you, get what they want and just have trouble finding it. "WOW, what a wonderful gift I was given!" When my husband and I decided to start a family, we discussed me staying at home to raise the kids. I left my career in the medical field and starting my sewing business in September 2000. At the time we lived in a townhouse so I was limited on the services I could offer until we bought his parents' house in 2007. Once we settled in, I started offering wedding dress alterations and in 2009 we were able to move everything to a studio space on the property separate from the house. I have continued to grow year after year and absolutely love helping my brides prepare for one of the most important days of their life. I love sewing and take great pride in my work giving customers over 25 years' experience. I enjoy taking the worrying off their minds and giving personalized attention. I offer many areas of service specializing in alterations: wedding dresses, bridal party/other formal and everyday clothing. I can also assist you with embroidery, home decor, memory items and more.
