Helpful Hints & Tips to Scheduling
3/30/24
When it comes to ordering your dress or garment, it’s important to plan ahead and schedule as soon as possible. Don’t wait for it to arrive before making plans. This will give you peace of mind.
For brides, we recommend saying “Yes to the dress” at least 12+ months before the wedding date. Manufacturing and shipping can take 6-8 months, followed by 3-4 months for alterations.
For formal events and bridal parties, orders should be placed at least 6+ months in advance for manufacturing and shipping. Allow an additional 6-8 weeks for alterations.
If you require custom work, brides should allow an extra 1-2 months and bridal party/formal wear should allow an extra 2-4 weeks.
The only exception to the above guidelines for ordering is if you are purchasing your dress off the rack as the alteration process still remains the same either way.
